NETGEAR and Xyte Announce Strategic Partnership to Bring AI-Driven AV Management to the Network Edge
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- NETGEAR®Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR), a global leader in intelligent networking solutions designed to power extraordinary experiences and XYTE, the Connected Device Platform for the professional AV industry, announce a strategic partnership. The collaboration, designed to accelerate the shift toward cloud-based AV service models and AI-assisted device management, will be introduced publicly at ISE 2026, where both companies will showcase integrated demonstrations in their respective booths.
The partnership combines NETGEAR’s market-leading AV-over-IP switching portfolio with XYTE’s edge software, cloud platform, telemetry engine, and new AI Teammate. Together, these capabilities create a unified service environment that gives system integrators, managed service providers, and IT teams unprecedented visibility into their networks. By connecting NETGEAR Engage™ and NETGEAR Insight™ with XYTE’s cloud intelligence, the companies aim to make it easier to monitor, troubleshoot, and support AV installations of all sizes.
For an industry in transition that is increasingly defined by hybrid deployments, software-defined control, and recurring revenue models, the ability to access real-time network intelligence and AI-guided recommendations has become essential. AV systems now depend on a stable, high-performance network more than ever, and integrators face growing pressure to deliver consistent uptime while managing devices across multiple locations. NETGEAR and XYTE believe the path forward is an integrated, cloud-first approach where the network and device layers are no longer treated as separate silos but as a single managed fabric.
“Our mission has always been to make every AV deployment cloud-ready from day one,” said Omer Brookstein, CEO and cofounder of XYTE. “By integrating NETGEAR’s AV-over-IP switching with XYTE’s edge and cloud capabilities, we’re giving system integrators a single pane of glass for real-time telemetry, AI-guided troubleshooting, and lifecycle services. NETGEAR is the backbone of so many AV networks, and together we can modernize how the entire industry deploys, manages, and supports these systems.”
NETGEAR sees the partnership as an important moment for the industry. “AV is going through a major transformation, and the network is now at the center of every modern deployment,” said Richard Jonker, VP of Business Development at NETGEAR. “This partnership helps the industry move forward, quickly and pragmatically. XYTE brings a mature cloud platform, a powerful AI engine, and deep integration capabilities that complement NETGEAR’s leadership in AV-over-IP switching. Together we’re making it dramatically easier for integrators and IT teams todeploy, monitor, and support complex AV environments.”
System integrators in the field are already feeling the pressure of increasingly complex deployments and rising customer expectations around uptime and responsiveness. Eric Snider, CTO of CTI and a recognized leader within the PSNI Global Alliance, underscored this need: “As one of the largest integrators inthe PSNI Global Alliance, we see first-hand how AI-driven network insights are becoming essential in enterprise AV. NETGEAR and XYTE are tackling a real pain point: managing multivendor AV systems at scale without rolling a truck for every issue. This partnership has the potential to materially reduce downtime and improve the service experience for our customers.”
The integration between the companies will begin with secure cloud-to-edge connectivity between XYTE’s platform and NETGEAR Engage™, enabling remote configuration, telemetry access, and advanced diagnostics through a single cloud interface. XYTE’s AI assistant, which analyzes OEM manuals, historical device data, and real-time telemetry, will support NETGEAR switches as part of its recommendations engine, giving integrators actionable insights into potential issues before they escalate.
NETGEAR and XYTE are also aligning on a longer-term cloud-to-cloud strategy that will bring NETGEAR Insight™ into the integrated environment. Insight is NETGEAR’s cloud management platform for distributed and SMB-focused IT environments. The two companies will share an “intent to integrate” roadmap at ISE, laying the foundation for a more complete cloud-managed AV ecosystem.
Visitors to ISE 2025 will be able to see these capabilities firsthand. In the NETGEAR booth 2U240, XYTE’s cloud and AI tools will be shown interfacing directly with NETGEAR AV switches. In the XYTE booth 2B260, attendees will see NETGEAR Engage™ connected to XYTE’s edge appliance and AI workflows, demonstrating how network data, device intelligence, and AI-driven guidance can converge into aunified management experience.
